Life With Madi

Bone marrow donor, recipient meet for first time  Madi woke up at 8:10 am this morning. I made her a bowl of Pops and cut up an apple because she said her tooth was loose. I told her she was getting her big girl teeth, that's why it was loose like that. I made myself a world class omelete and we watched "How To Train Your Dragon". After breakfast we went clothes shopping for Madi at Old Navy and Ross. I bought her two long sleeve shirts one a yellow and white printed thermal and the other, a blue green long sleeve shirt. At Ross, I bought Madi a pair of girls size 10 Sponge Bob tennis shoes. Afterward we went to my mom's house to make the Pillsbury Crescent Roll Pizza Pockets with Madi, Little Willie and his sister Erica. She answered the phone with "What?" and asked "Why are you in such a rush, your mama pushing you?" "I replied "No I ain't seen my daughter in over seven months and I miss her just like I'm sure she misses me." She paused for a few seconds and stated that "I don't want her over there with no female...you living with a bitch?" I said that I live alone, "But what does that matter, didn't you say you had a fiance ?" She pauses again then says "That's my baby." I say " She's mine too, Stephanie." She replies "Well,okay,but you better not bring her back sick." I asked her where do you want to meet so I can see Madi?" She told me that she would call me at 5 o'clock...

Winter storm targets Houston Computer models suggest the precipitation will arrive earlier on Thursday than expected.   I called Stephanie this morning at 9:15 to ask her if she received my text I sent her last night at 6:45 pm. She curtly said yeah and I said if the weather turns out as bad as the news says then I will pick Madi up Saturday at 10 am. She said I know and I said o.k. Bye.Then hung up.
